The work:
- Devise and implement strategic solutions that effectively support the end client’s objectives and enhance their operational capabilities. This includes conducting comprehensive needs assessments and aligning proposed solutions with the client’s long-term goals.
- Engage in extensive software development and database development activities, ensuring robust operations and maintenance (O&M) support. Facilitate proactive customer and user engagement to address their needs and concerns effectively, fostering strong client relationships and trust.
- Deliver comprehensive development and O&M support for production-grade Java applications. These applications utilize an Oracle backend and operate on Tomcat/JBoss application servers. Provide support during core working hours and extend assistance beyond regular hours as required to fulfill mission-critical needs and ensure seamless operations.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance and testing protocols to ensure all developed solutions meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. Conduct regular code reviews, performance testing, and security assessments.
- Develop detailed documentation for all software and database solutions, including user manuals, technical guides, and operational procedures. Provide training and support to end-users and client staff to ensure effective utilization of the solutions provided.
Here’s what you need:
- 8 years of Development experience in the following technologies/areas: Java, React, Spring Boot, JavaScript/AJAX, Apache Tomcat
- 5 years experience with AWS
- 5 years experience Agile & Scrum
- Database Development and/or Engineering experience with a relational database (Oracle, PLSQL, Postgres etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Experience supporting RedHat Linux (RHEL, CentOS)
- Active Top Secret required with ability to obtain SCI
Bonus points if you have:
- Obtained relevant Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Experience with Native or 3rd party DevOps solutions such as terraform or Ansible etc.
- Experience and responsible for working in a multi-vendor environment building relationships with cross functional entities across the organization to avoid silos
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
