Job Description :

This role can be front-end, back-end or a fullstack developer. The developer builds and implements functional programs. The developer with work with other developers and product managers throughout the software development life cycle. The developer should have experience in Agile framework and popular coding language.

Purpose of the position

Design and develop code you can be proud of to deliverdigital solutions

You will be responsible fordevelopingdigital solutions to realise the requirements specified for each project:

Working with team mates to ensure solutions follow the technical design

Using appropriate technology to code the solution

Unit test your code to make the job of quality assurance a breeze.

This involves working with the wider development team to ensure your code meets requirements, is produced to plan and is of a quality you can be proud of.

02Fundamentals

Follow Technical Design

  • Work with Project Managers, Systems Analysts and Team Leads to develop the physical system components to a design that delivers the client requirements.

  • Produce clean, efficient code that follows internal design requirements.

  • Analyse and contribute improvements to solution requirements to ensure the delivered system is as good as it can be.

Produce Working Code

  • Develop the code to deliver the required solution

  • Unit test your own code before releasing it to the Quality Assurance team

  • Workwith the Quality Assurance team to manage defects and ensure bug free code

  • UtiliseGIT source code repositories to track and securely store all developed code

  • Produce notes to inform the release of code to production 

  • Adhere to secure coding standards

  • Share new technologies and techniques with the development team.

  • Full stack digital development, with a backend focus on PHP and the Laravel Framework and a frontend focus on Svelte or similar Javascript frameworks.

  • The .NET technology stack, with a focus on C# and ASP.net.

  • SQL and NoSQL database technologies

  • RESTful Web Service coding
